We design deployments based on event-specific risk rather than assumptions of equivalence, and we operate with the understanding that decisions made about the level of care of patrons and participants receive matters.

      At Mosaic Medical, we organize our approach around five key principles that help ensure practical, responsive, and appropriate medical support for events of varied size and risk.<\/p>

      \nThe foundation of good medical coverage is the people providing it. Our teams are made up of trained healthcare professionals who are comfortable working in fast-moving, unpredictable environments. They bring calm, experience, and sound judgment \u2014 while treating every person with respect.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>

      \nEvents bring a wide range of medical needs, from minor injuries to more serious concerns. Our focus is on providing timely assessment and care, and knowing when additional medical support is needed. This helps ensure people receive the right level of care at the right time.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>

      \nNo two events are the same. We work with organizers to understand the environment, activities, and audience so medical coverage matches the actual risks involved. Clear planning helps our teams respond quickly and work smoothly alongside event staff and local emergency services if required.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>

      \nCompetence is maintained through ongoing, standards-based education. We hire clinicians with proven emergency training and hands-on experience, and we support consistent practice through continuing education, skills maintenance, and evidence-informed updates appropriate to event and pre-hospital settings.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>

      \nHaving appropriate equipment onsite allows care to be delivered efficiently and discreetly. From small medical stations to larger event setups with vehicles, we ensure our teams are equipped to respond while maintaining privacy, professionalism, and respect for those receiving care.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/section>

      On April 1, 2020, changes to Ontario's Ambulance Act came into force restricting use of the title \"Paramedic\" to individuals while on-duty with a municipal ambulance service.<\/strong><\/p>

      No other health profession has their title tied to their employer except for paramedicine. While Mosaic Medical has maintained equivalent scope of practice and educational opportunities as our municipally employed colleagues, we no longer offer out our professionals as \u201cParamedics\u201d. Mosaic Medical is embracing this opportunity requiring further education for our \u201cMedics\u201d to carry a Paramedic plus scope, including things like suturing and dislocation reductions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>
