Our 5 'RIGHTS' of Event Medical Service

We refer to these as our "5 Rights".

No two events are the same. We work with organizers to understand the environment, activities, and audience so medical coverage matches the actual risks involved. Clear planning helps our teams respond quickly and work smoothly alongside event staff and local emergency services if required.
4. Right Training
Competence is maintained through ongoing, standards-based education. We hire clinicians with proven emergency training and hands-on experience, and we support consistent practice through continuing education, skills maintenance, and evidence-informed updates appropriate to event and pre-hospital settings.
5. Right Tools
Having appropriate equipment onsite allows care to be delivered efficiently and discreetly. From small medical stations to larger event setups with vehicles, we ensure our teams are equipped to respond while maintaining privacy, professionalism, and respect for those receiving care.
On April 1, 2020, changes to Ontario's Ambulance Act came into force restricting use of the title "Paramedic" to individuals while on-duty with a municipal ambulance service.
No other health profession has their title tied to their employer except for paramedicine. While Mosaic Medical has maintained equivalent scope of practice and educational opportunities as our municipally employed colleagues, we no longer offer out our professionals as “Paramedics”. Mosaic Medical is embracing this opportunity requiring further education for our “Medics” to carry a Paramedic plus scope, including things like suturing and dislocation reductions.
